Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR)

Through our partnership with CLWR, Zion Lutheran Church supports vital humanitarian and development programs around the world. CLWR works to alleviate poverty, respond to disasters, and empower communities in some of the most vulnerable regions on earth. Our congregation contributes through special offerings, awareness campaigns, and dedicated fundraising events throughout the year.

Endowment Fund

Established in 1988, the Zion Endowment Fund provides ongoing financial support for the congregation, the ELCIC Eastern Synod, and a variety of charitable organizations. This fund reflects the far-sighted generosity of our members and ensures that our ministries and outreach programs continue to thrive for generations to come.

Stratford & District Council of Churches

Zion participates actively in the Stratford and District Council of Churches, an ecumenical body that brings together diverse faith communities for collaborative ministry. Through joint worship services, community projects, and shared resources, we work alongside our Christian sisters and brothers to serve the greater Stratford area.

Community Space Sharing

Zion Lutheran Church makes its meeting spaces and facilities available to community groups, organizations, and individuals who need a welcoming space for gatherings, meetings, and events. We believe that our church building should be a resource for the entire Stratford community, not just our congregation.

Pastoral Care Outreach

Our pastoral care ministry extends beyond the walls of the church to reach those in need. Through a dedicated visitation program, our pastoral team and trained lay visitors provide comfort, support, and prayer to shut-ins, those in hospital, and individuals experiencing difficult times. No one is forgotten or alone in our community of faith.
