Our Ministries
From education to fellowship to prayer, there is a place for everyone at Zion.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School program provides faith formation for children and youth through engaging, age-appropriate lessons, creative activities, and Bible stories that bring God's Word to life. Children learn about God's love in a nurturing and fun environment.
Adult Bible Study
Join us for a weekly deep dive into Scripture, exploring the richness of God's Word and its relevance to our daily lives. Our Bible study sessions are open to all — no prior knowledge required. Come with your questions and curiosity.
Lutherans of Long Standing
The LLS is a cherished women's fellowship group that meets monthly for devotion, conversation, and community building. Members enjoy meaningful discussions, guest speakers, and social activities that strengthen bonds of friendship and faith.
Men's Fellowship
A weekly morning gathering where men of the congregation come together for breakfast, fellowship, and lively discussion of current events, theology, and faith in everyday life. All men are welcome regardless of church membership.
Sisters in Christ
This compassionate ministry sends cards and messages of encouragement to shut-ins, those recovering from illness, and anyone in need of a caring word. Sisters in Christ embodies the heart of our congregation's care for one another.
The Book Group
A monthly reading and discussion circle that explores faith-based literature, spiritual memoirs, and thought-provoking books. Members share insights, perspectives, and reflections in a warm and welcoming setting.
Confirmation Classes
Our confirmation program prepares young people for the affirmation of their baptism. Through structured study of the catechism, Scripture, and Lutheran theology, confirmands deepen their understanding of Christian faith and commitment.
Prayer Ministry
Our intercessory prayer ministry supports individuals within and beyond the congregation. Prayer requests are received confidentially and lifted up faithfully by dedicated prayer partners who believe in the power of prayer.
Youth & Children's Ministry
At Zion Lutheran Church, we are deeply committed to nurturing the faith of the next generation. Our Sunday School, youth groups, and confirmation classes provide young people with a strong foundation in the Christian faith.
Through engaging worship experiences, community service projects, and fun fellowship activities, our children and youth learn what it means to live as disciples of Christ. We believe that investing in young people is investing in the future of the church and the world.
Parents and families are encouraged to participate alongside their children, creating opportunities for shared faith experiences and meaningful conversations that extend beyond Sunday morning.
